About Me

Hi, I am Tegan! I am a Toronto-born Halifax-based multidisciplinary theatre artist who can't make my mind up about what part of theatre I like the most. I am a 4th year student in Dalhousie University Fountain School of Performing Arts Stage Design and Technical Theatre program where I specialize in lighting design and props. One of my earliest memories was riding into the living room on a toy elephant during family gatherings and forcing everyone to watch my elaborate performances. I am not sure exactly where I caught my love of theatre but that was certainly an early symptom. 

In my free time, I dabble in playwriting, photography, watching movies, cosplay, and thinking about Sherlock Holmes. I am also an avid collector of all things Doctor Who. Recently I was head of Props on DalTheatres Mr Burns: A Post Electric Play, Sound Designer for Golden performed as part of Halifax Fringe Festival 2024, And Props Builder, and Lighting and Sound Designer for Miss Pringles Mini Skirt for Stone Fence Theatre.
