About Me

Hi, I am Tegan! I am a Toronto-born Halifax-based multidisciplinary theatre artist who can't make my mind up about what part of theatre I like the most. I am recent graduate of Dalhousie University's Fountain School of Performing Arts Stage Design and Technical Theatre program where I specialized in lighting design and props. One of my earliest memories was riding into the living room on a toy elephant during family gatherings and forcing everyone to watch my elaborate performances. I am not sure exactly where I caught my love of theatre but that was certainly an early symptom. 

In my free time, I dabble in playwriting, photography, watching movies, cosplay, and thinking about Sherlock Holmes. I am also an avid collector of all things Doctor Who. Recently I have been The Lighting Designer for DalTheatres Three Sisters, Set Designer for Around + Out Theatre co. touring production of Horse Girls, and Lighting and Sound Designer for High Times at The Heart Institute for Stone Fence Theatre. My upcoming projects included sound design for Neptune theatre's YPCO Frankenstein
